Videogame Advertisement Poster

Description: The purpose of this project was to create an advertisement poster for the topic of our choice. I decided to create a videogame poster for an anime called "Sword Art Online". This project had to include pictures, texts and added visual elements.

Process: As with most projects, I first started brainstorming for possible ideas for this project until I chose the "Sword Art Online" anime based videogame ad. For this project I had to include real photos therefore, to add to the videogame theme, I used pictures of characters from the anime. I also had to create a background for the poster. I started out with a simple gradient background. Next, I added some elements using custom stamps on Photoshop as well as custom designs from Illustrator. After that I edited and added the characters for the game. My next step was to add some highlights to the characters, using custom stamps and layer effects. Finnaly, I added the text and logo using both layer styles and Illustrator vectors. The final result is below, as well as parts of the process.
